High voltage transformer (HVT) is a heart of the ELC machine and output of HVT is 10 – 12 KVDC (Kilo Volt Direct Current). In cleaning chamber, Dust collector papers are kept in between positive (+) and negative (-) electrodes. Oil ow comes from bottom to top. Because of KVDC, contamination gets charge (Here oil does not charged and / or oil properties does not affect) either positive (+) or negative (-) pole and attract to opposite pole. During traveling, contaminations are trapped by dust collector papers. Thus, oil gets clean.
Varnish : Varnish is a thousand of very thin layers on surface of spool, valve, gears, vanes/parts of pumps. These gradually reduce the clearance and increase the friction, leading to wear and tear. This varnish is removed by ELC machine only.
